After Release 15.03 has been downloaded to your Hi-Tech system, you can access the Update Memo from your Hi-Tech main menu by selecting Update Memos > System Update ... Release 15.03
 
Hi-One: Resident Accounting and Exception Billing
Select Bills for Medicare A, MaineCare, and Commercial Billing will add an occurrence code 55 with date of death.

Print Medicare B Data will include the designation of PT, OT or ST if selected for a diagnosis on the Edit Medicare Part B Stay Table.

You will be able to provide a Floor Description for a Room Type Cost Center under Libraries > Charges/GL Coding > Cost Centers.
Hi-Two: State of Maine Payroll Change
To meet the State of Maine regulations for the 1st quarter of 2015, End of Quarter > Create EOQ File will create two quarterly files for:
  • Income Tax Withholding  (PR941.SEQ)
  • Unemployment Contributions and Wages (MEUC1.TXT)
Hi-Three: Provide More Insurance Provider Details in the Resident's Medical Record
Through Edit Medical Record > Insurance you will be able to add Contact Name, Email, Phone and Fax for current providers. When you add a new insurance to a resident's profile, it will pull this information from the insurance profile (Libraries > Face Sheet > Insurance).
 
Hi-Four: List Diagnoses in Sort Order
Under Reporting > Face Sheet Reporting > Resident Diagnosis List, the diagnoses will be listed in the sort order indicated on the resident's face sheet diagnosis screen (Edit Medical Record > Physicians/Diagnoses).

 

Hi-Five: Additional MDS 3.0 Error Checking
If an End of Therapy assessment (A0310C= 2 or 3) is missing an end date at O0400A6, O0400B6 or O0400C6 Therapy End Date, you will be warned: EOT needs Therapy End Date.

   

Error checking will display an error for dates greater than today's date entered at V0200B2 Date and V0200C2 Date, in the signature area of the CAA Area Assessment screen.

 

Maine MDS Submission Management System Registration
The Maine Submission Management System (SMS) is a secure web portal for Nursing Facilities to quickly and securely access their MDS 3.0 MaineCare Grouper and Section S Validation Reports.
