It is wonderful to see the collaboration and participation of players representing area synagogues and agencies. Thanks to Rabbi Steven Sacks for coordinating this effort on behalf of the community.

On Sunday afternoon, more than 70 people throughout North America and Israel will be coming to Delaware for the Negev Conference: Shaping The Future Together, which Federation is proudly hosting at the Siegel JCC. The Negev Conference is being convened by the Negev Work Group and Negev Funding Coalition of the Jewish Federations of North America. The Work Group was established in 2006 to evaluate the most effective ways in which the North American Jewish community can contribute to the development and advancement of the Negev, and the Coalition followed in 2011. We acknowledge Robin Karol-Eng, Negev Funding Coalition Chair and Toni Young for their vision and leadership.

Please join us for Federation's Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 18th at 7:00PM in the Siegel JCC auditorium. Bill Wagner is our Annual Meeting Chair and we will be honoring Ken Kamm with the Irving S. Shapiro Community Builder Award, Jennifer Steinberg will receive the Gilbert J. Spiegel Young Leadership Award and Special Recognition of Service will be presented to Regina Kerr Alonzo.
