On Monday, Federation beneficiary agency UD Hillel held its Annual Meeting at the Kristol Center for Jewish Life. It was a sincere pleasure interacting with the students and hearing about their various accomplishments. We commend the UD Hillel Board of Directors and staff for another memorable year. Federation also hosted Film Night with Our Community Shaliach, Adir Ben Tovim, on Monday evening as well with a screening and discussion of Black Mirror.

Last night we hosted a Farewell Reception for Adir who will be completing his tenure in Delaware and returning to Israel next week. Our community is grateful for his dedication and support over the past year and wish him a safe journey home. Federation is in the process of interviewing candidates for our next shaliach which we hope to announce soon.

Federation's Executive Committee and Board of Directors held their final meetings of the fiscal year last night and we look forward to updating the community at our Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 18th (please find more information below).

TOGETHER We Do Extraordinary Things.

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv won the Euroleague basketball final 96-86 Sunday night against Real Madrid in Milan in a nail-biting overtime victory.

Maccabi chalked up its first European championship win since back-to-back wins in 2004 and 2005, and its sixth overall. The Tel Aviv team had not been fancied even to make the final four, and only secured its final place with a last-seconds victory over the mighty CSKA Moscow on Friday.
