This past Sunday, our Emerging Leadership Project (ELP) participants gathered at the home of Kate and Pincus for a session on social and political advocacy. Much to the group's surprise, we were joined by U.S. Senator Christopher Coons, as well as JCRC Chair, John Elzufon. On Monday I attended the UD Hillel Board meeting on the University of Delaware campus with 2014 Campaign Co-Chair, David Margules. We welcomed Interim Executive Director, Donna Schwartz, as well as discussed the primacy of the 2014 Annual Campaign. Although yesterday's winter storm limited community activity, we are planning to open the Weinberg Jewish Community Campus at 9:00am this morning. Please drive safely! Thanks to you, Jewish Federation of Delaware is improving the lives of Jews around the corner and around the world.
