Good morning.
This past Sunday, a number of newborns and their parents attended Federation's
Shalom Baby & Family Breakfast at the JCC's Early Childhood Pavilion. This program is effectively managed by our Young Leadership Division and welcomes new and expectant parents to our community with a special gift package delivered by a friendly face.
Federation President, Robin Kauffman Saran, Past-President, Suzanne Grant, and Board Member, Connie Sugarman, represented our community earlier this week at the Jewish Federations of North America Board of Trustees and National Women's Philanthropy meetings in New York. Delaware has a national presence with community leadership serving on select JFNA leadership positions.
On Tuesday and Wednesday I had an opportunity of attending the Jewish Communal Service Association (JCSA) Annual Program and Conference on the campus of the Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest in Whippany, New Jersey. The theme of the program was "Adding Value @ Work" that included breakout sessions, intriguing speakers and networking.
