NEWS & NOTES
Federation's weekly e-news to keep you informed, inspired and connected to Jewish life in Delaware and the Brandywine Valley.

Message from the CEO...

Greetings!,

This past Monday more than 40 young adults attended Federation's Ben-Gurion Society event with featured speakers Governor Jack Markell and Wayne Kimmel, Jewish Federations of North America Board of Trustees. Governor Markell reminded us that Delaware is the only state in the country with a Jewish Governor and Lt. Governor as well as a mezuzah at the Woodburn Governor's House in Dover. He also inspired us to have the courage to stand by our convictions. Special thanks to our hosts Drs. Carolyn Glazer-Hockstein and Neil Hockstein, BGS Chair Larry Kimmel, and Federation Development Director Wendy Berger.

Please join us on Sunday, May 19th for our annual MITZVAH DAY at the Siegel JCC beginning at 9:00am and make a difference!

With the strength of a people and the power of community, we are
Improving Our World...TOGETHER.
