Federation's weekly e-news to keep you informed, inspired and connected to Jewish life in Delaware and the Brandywine Valley.

|
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
(1929-1968)
Thank you to our clergy and community leadership for making last week's Federation Shabbat such a memorable evening. More than 200 people from across Delaware and the Brandywine Valley attended the service (including a bus from Rehoboth Beach), festive dinner and PJ Library program. Having the support and participation of our area congregations and beneficiary agencies (Siegel JCC, Albert Einstein Academy, Jewish Family Services of Delaware, the Kutz Home and University of Delaware Hillel) was a vivid reminder and example of the unity and partnership we have in our community. Special thanks to Rabbi Robinson, Cantor Stanton, President Jan Goodman and the staff at Congregation Beth Emeth for their warm hospitality.
The community is invited and encouraged to come together again on January 27th for our annual SUPER SUNDAY (see information below). This is Federation's largest fundraising day of the year and we need your support to make the call and answer the call and give generously to the 2013 Campaign. One Day. One Call. One Community.
With the strength of a people and the power of community, we are Improving Our World...TOGETHER.
Shabbat Shalom
