Last Friday, Federation launched our Emerging Leadership Project (ELP) comprised of our community's next generation of leadership who toured each of Federation's Beneficiary Agencies including the Siegel JCC, Jewish Family Services of Delaware, Albert Einstein Academy, the Kutz Home and we ended our tour at the Kristol Center for Jewish Life/Hillel at the University of Delaware where we participated in Shabbat services and a wonderful dinner with 50 students and staff. The ELP will meet monthly throughout the next nine months learning more about our vibrant community and the myriad ways of getting involved to make a meaningful difference. Simultaneously, nearly 75 people attended our Young Leadership Division's "
Apples & Honey / PJ Library" event at Linvilla Orchards. Families listened to the story of "
Noah's Bark" as told by storyteller Jeff Metz (aka Noah). Thanks to Adriana Mann, Amie Baker and Federation Outreach Director Roberta Matz for their support.
On Monday, we screened the film, "
Noodle" at Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth as part of Federation's Israel Film Series, made possible by our Israel & Overseas Committee. This was the fourth film in our series with the next screening on November 18th at Temple Beth El in Newark. Each film was carefully selected by Community
