Please be introduced here to a new program that may be of interest to you that we are offering this Fall Season and beyond. It is a Spiritual Formation series offered by PointeVierge which is our new endeavor completely devoted to Spiritual Formation and Guidance.   

 

A simple summary is as follows:

 

Introduction:

  • The offering is put together after long reflection, market sensitivity, and in conjunction with Doctoral of Ministry studies at Ashland Seminary (in process).
  • Vic Pergola is the chief facilitator and leader and is charting a new course that will evolve into a movement away from solely business/executive counsel to Christian/Spiritual Formation counsel 
Methodology:
  • Content delivered in discreet packets of some 20 minutes
  • Time spent on personal reflection and journaling
  • Interactive discussion time in small groups with focus on content
  • Summary to large group and homework going forward to next session
  • This is classic adult learning process  

Content: 

  • All sessions begin with scripture readings
  • Our content and process are modeled after a Lectio Divina format  
  • We focus on the development of Christian Spirituality from a Biblical, Historical and Theological perspective
  • We synthesize Christian Spirituality with the contemporary demands of living in the 21st century
  • Our emphasis is on spiritual development, growth in Christ and Spirit, and practices that build both individuals and communities
