Click here to see Horace Mann's SBA testing schedule for grades 3-5. The days have been color coded in an attempt to help you easily see what grade levels are testing. Please be sure to use this calendar to plan doctor appointments or vacations accordingly so that your child can be present for their test dates. Remind your child to get a good night of sleep, eat well and try their best.

The PTSA Awards Committee is requesting nominations for the Mannie Award, the Golden Acorn Award and Outstanding Educator Award. Please take a few minutes to help us recognize our exceptional educators and volunteers by clicking here to tell us who has impressed you this year with their hard work and dedication! These awards will be presented at our Volunteer Tea on Thursday, June 9 at 3:15 pm at Horace Mann. Deadline for submissions is Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Thanks!
The Excitement is Building as The World of Fun
International Carnival Draws Near!

Mark your calendars! June 3rd, from 5:30 pm - 8 pm, the Horace Mann PTSA is excited to present the 2nd annual World of Fun International Carnival! This event is going to be fun for the whole family and will have games, food and fun, and will feature the awesome international community we have hear at Mann. If you are interested in doing an international display or performance but not sure what it entails or want to help in the planning process - email Desiree,

SchoolPool is BACK!

We're excited to get students at our school walking, biking, and sharing the ride to school this month with the Redmond SchoolPool! Participating families can help us raise up to $2,500 for our school.

Why Participate with the Redmond SchoolPool?
  • To help students get more daily exercise by walking or biking to school
  • To earn rewards for taking the bus
  • To share carpooling duties with other families
  • To help raise money for our school
  • To reduce traffic congestion and local air pollution in our neighborhoods
  • It's fun!
How to Participate:
  1. Get Your SchoolPool Calendar: Students will be given a calendar they can keep in their notebook or attach to their backpack.
  2. Don't Drive Alone to School: Each week that students take at least one walking, biking, carpool or bus trip to school they mark the calendar.
  3. Earn Rewards! At the end of the month, turn in your completed calendar to raise $10 for our PTSA and be entered into prizes for students from the Redmond SchoolPool.

Lost And Found!! 

The lost and found is overflowing with coats and jackets - some very nice ones! Please come check it out before or after school if you think your child left something at school!
