Safe Arrival - help needed on
Mondays and every other Wednesday
If you are free Monday or every other Wednesday morning between 9:00 - 10:00 am, please consider helping out with this great program. Volunteers call parents if a child does not report to school and no message was received regarding the absence.
What is the purpose of the Safe Arrival Program?
#1 - To alleviate potential concern by notifying parents if their children do not arrive at school.
#2 - To comply with the school district's requirements that the school keep a record of excused absences

News from the Art Room
We are about half way through the 2015-2016 school year! It's gone by fast. Thank you to all the volunteer docents. This program wouldn't exist without you. Please reach out if you have questions, concerns, need project ideas, or help with all the media we have in the art room. We have a whole group of art volunteers just waiting to help you. Now is the time to coordinate your clay projects. There is a calendar on the kiln cage in the art room. Just put your teacher's name on the month you would like to start your project and docent contact info. Please aim to have your clay projects started in the next two months. Projects take 2 separate lessons. Again, we have docents just waiting to help you. Please don't let your class go without a clay project this year. Also, Art Night is coming up. Please start thinking about a class project that will be auctioned that night. For all questions, concerns, or feedback please contact Liz Holmquist at art@horacemannptsa.org.
