Newsletter Editor Needed for 2015-2016

Are you a self starter who is organized and familiar with technology? The PTSA needs you! We are looking to fill our vacant Newsletter Editor Chair position. Duties include: compiling newsletter articles that are sent via email, organizing articles into the weekly Horace Mannager and sending the weekly Mannager out. Please contact Co-presidents Lia White and Rachel Roland at president@horacemannptsa.org.
Solve Math Challenge 4
  1. Get challenge #4 at www.mathinaction.org or the Mann office. 
  2. Solve as many problems as you can.
  3. Submit solutions by 3 pm Friday 11/20.

MOVIE NIGHT IS COMING!!

It's that time of year again! Horace Mann's family movie night is Friday, December 4th! Newly released "Inside Out" will be showing on the big screen, so bring your pillows and blankets and settle in for a cozy viewing of this huge blockbuster hit!!! There will be pizza available for purchase as well as concessions. Doors are opening at 6:15 pm with a movie start time of 7 pm!!!
Help Needed for the Holidays

The holiday season is fast approaching and we are asking for your help for our Horace Mann families who may need a little extra support during this time.  As a school community, we provide a Thanksgiving meal and Christmas gift cards to many families in our school community who may be going through tough financial times. If you are willing and able to help, we are collecting donations through November for BOTH Thanksgiving and Christmas. 
  • Cash or Check (checks made out to Horace Mann PTSA with "transitions" in memo line) 
  • Gift Cards (Target, Fred Meyer or any local store)
All donations can be brought to the school office, c/o Ann Glassey.  Your support is very much appreciated and truly makes a difference. Thank you.
