Solve Math Challenge 3
  1. Get challenge #3 at www.mathinaction.org or the Mann office. 
  2. Solve as many problems as you can.
  3. Submit solutions by 3 pm Friday 11/13.

Hearing And Vision Screening November 19th - We are short volunteers!

The yearly hearing and vision screening is happening on Thursday, November 19th. We have only 6 of the 20 volunteers required to make this day run smoothly. Morning and afternoon shifts are available.  Lunch will be provided for any volunteers able to commit to the full day. The only thing you need to volunteer is to be excited to work with our great students. Please sign up here to volunteer!
SchoolPool: The Final Numbers

In this round of SchoolPool, we had 37 new families sign up and 135 total users, which meant we raised $520 for Horace Mann PTSA! Thank you to all of you who signed up, logged on and recorded your trips - you helped not only the environment by walking, biking or carpooling but also our school.  
Help Needed for the Holidays

The holiday season is fast approaching and we are asking for your help for our Horace Mann families who may need a little extra support during this time.  As a school community, we provide a Thanksgiving meal and Christmas gift cards to many families in our school community who may be going through tough financial times. If you are willing and able to help, we are collecting donations through November for BOTH Thanksgiving and Christmas. 
  • Cash or Check (checks made out to Horace Mann PTSA with "transitions" in memo line) 
  • Gift Cards (Target, Fred Meyer or any local store)
All donations can be brought to the school office, c/o Ann Glassey.  Your support is very much appreciated and truly makes a difference. Thank you.
Math Kangaroo Contest at Mann Again!

Horace Mann students can now register.  The date is March 17, 2016 but registration deadline is in December. 

Our center is a private center reserved for Horace Mann students, which means you'll need a password to complete the registration.
