Coding with Kids SUMMER CAMPS

Looking for STEM summer programs for your kids? Let them unleash their creativity and build FUNtastic games and websites in Coding with Kids' computer programming camps. Students who have been attending Coding with Kids after-school classes at Horace Mann can sign up for the ADVANCED Game Programming camp and continue to learn new coding skills!

- LITTLE CODERS - Ages 5-7

- GAME DEVELOPMENT / Beginner or Advanced - Ages 8-15

- WEB DEVELOPMENT - Ages 10-15

Both beginners and experienced coders are welcome and will enjoy a project-based curriculum designed for their age and experience level. Campers will receive personalized instruction and collaborate with new friends. Max. 8 kids per instructor. Laptops provided. 

Half-day camps are available in Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, and other Eastside and Seattle locations. 

Full-day camps are available in Bellevue and Seattle/Green Lake only.

SBA Testing Dates

3rd-5th grade parents,

Please mark the following dates on your calendar.  It is essential all 3rd-5th grade students attend these days of school for the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA).  Please make doctor appointments on other days or before or after school.  The SBA has an interesting component to it.  One of the testing days involves a whole class performance task, which will usually mean a class discussion.  If students miss these sessions, it will be extremely difficult to re-create these discussions in a make-up session.  Your help in making sure your child is attending school well-rested, healthy and fed on these days is much appreciated.
