We are very excited to share our new logo with you.  It supports our theme for this school year.

The reasons we chose this theme:

• It reflects the diversity of our families
• We hope to host a Multi-Cultural or International Night
• We want to encourage children to be accepting of and learn about cultural differences

We are creating a world poster for the bulletin board at school that we'd like to put pins or dots to show where all our families are from:  near and far!

Math Club will start this week at school during lunch recess on Wednesday's.  An announcement will be made at school to remind children!

In conjunction with Math Club, we will host the Noetic Learning Math Competition for Grades 2-5th at Horace Mann on November 22^nd in the Gym at 6:00pm.  It is $3 per child for the Competition.

Service Club is sponsoring the annual coat drive again this year from Nov. 4^th - 18^th.  We will be collecting gently used coats which will be taken to Eastside Baby Corner and given directly to families who need them.

If you have coats that you've outgrown, please consider sending them in for a good cause.  We will also take hats, gloves and scarves.  Contact Jodie Miller or Colleen Wolfe with questions.

Horace Mann Commons

7 - 8pm

The PTSA will award the class with the highest participation at PTSA meetings.  

All you need to do is come to PTSA meetings!  Students, teachers, parents and family members all count. 

Meetings are the 3^rd Thursday of the month at 7pm in the Horace Mann Library (except no meeting in December).

Be sure to sign in when you arrive so we can keep an accurate count!

Parking Lot Patrol - help in the parking lot in the morning during drop off.

Nominating Committee - Help find Board members for next school year.
