Megan Spaulding closer Dear Mann Community:

 

Welcome Back!!!  Nothing is more joyous than seeing a group of students excited for a new school year.  It has been great to hear the building full of students laughing and learning together.

 

Along with adding about 20 more students this school year, we have added more staff.  Please join me in welcoming the following new staff members at Horace Mann:

 

3rd grade:       Alexa Dayton

4th grade:       Sara Holmes

Admin Intern:  Lucy Davies

Counselor:      Marion Holland

Psychologist:  Karen Wilson-Bielitz

Even with many new students and staff, we are off to a great start!

Please note that next week, on Thursday Sept. 12th, is our 1st through 5th grade Curriculum Night.  Below is the schedule for the evening. 

5:00-6:00 grades 3rd, 4th and 5th

6:00-6:30- Gym

6:30-7:30- grades 1st and 2nd

 

I hope that all of you will make plans to come and find out more about what your child will be learning this school year.  Thank you in advance for supporting your child's education.

Nutrition Services is Hiring

 

Food service currently has paid positions available help serve your students.

Paid Positions are 2-4 hours in length.

Starting pay is $9.25 an hour.

To add content to the Horace Mann Newsletter, email your entry to HoraceManager@hotmail.com by 5:00pm on Thursday.  Mid-week blasts are subject to approval.  Entries can be PTSA events and programs, or raves and applause.  Please be sure that announcements and other items for the newsletter are from the PTSA or school.
