Dear Mann Community:
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Aquasox Hit a Home Run for Reading program. We had 6 classes meet their goal. These classes are: Mrs. Koll, Mrs. Droke, Ms. Hatai, Mrs. Daniels and Mrs. Hartford. Individually, we had 255 students met their goals!
Remember to return your ticket voucher and payment for additional tickets to school by Tuesday, June 4th. All students must be accompanied by an adult to the Aquasox game on June 22nd. It will be a fun game with so many Horace Mann families present.

Art Is Everywhere--Looking Beyond the Canvas! 
Art Night is this Friday June 7 from 6:00-8:30pm. Art is everywhere--Looking beyond the canvas! is a celebration of all the art that the students have created over the year. Much of it will be on display throughout the school during Art Night. There will also be food, entertainment, take-home art projects, a raffle, and a silent auction for donated art! Please remember to bring money for raffle tickets, food, and the photo booth. Food available for purchase will be a hot dog, chips and soda for $5.00. The Photo Booth will be set up to take instant pictures for $1.00
In addition, T-shirt iron-ons with an Art Is Everywhere logo are available to parents and students for purchase. There will be a sample and order forms in the art room for you to check out. Come Friday evening and show your support for the students of Horace Mann, as well as local artists. Don't miss out on the fun! We look forward to seeing you there!

Art Docent Strategy Meeting for Art Night
The upcoming docent strategy meeting is on Tuesday June 4 at 1:30pm in the Art Room at Horace Mann. Art docents in all grade levels are strongly encouraged to attend. We will be preparing signs, working out final preparation details for creation stations, and making sure everything is set for Friday. Please visit the following link: Art Night
