Dear Mann Community:Megan Spaulding closer

Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment this past week during Staff Appreciation Week. The Mann PTSA, once again, did an outstanding job honoring the Mann staff. The theme this week was Super Heroes....and boy, we all felt like super heroes by the end of the week! Special thanks to Maegan Birr for her creative touch and terrific organizational skills.

On another note, believe it or not, we are already beginning to plan for next school year. If you have input you would like us to consider when building classes for next fall, please stop by the office and complete a parent input form. These forms are due back to the office no later than May 1st.

Enjoy the sunshine!!

Sincerely,

Megan Spaulding

Principal

Enrichment Program News

A new ART class has been added to our spring schedule!

The Academic Artist

Spring is a great time to review core subject matter learned throughout the school year, and what better way to reinforce school subjects than through visual arts? In this session, students will discover how creating art improves math skills, encourages science exploration, strengthens creative writing as well as critical thinking, all while making fabulous works of art! For example, discover fractions in the art of Wayne Theibaud and create your own "pop art" dessert. Write a poem inspired by your very own animal collage while studying the work of Eric Carle! Discover integrated art in an atmosphere of fun and success as Smart with Art helps unlock the magic of your imagination!

As always - dress for mess!
