A Watershed Moment to Turn Around VA Operations
John Toussaint, MD, shares his thoughts in a recent Huffington Post article on the VA's intention to start down the path of lean transformation. Last month, Secretary of the VA Robert McDonald released a memorandum outlining the system's plan to fully implement the "lean" strategy. Dr. Toussaint speaks directly to eight areas on which the VA needs to focus to make the transformation a success.
