Introducing Our New Board Members

We're happy to announce the newest members of our board, confirmed last month:

  • Leonard Berry, Ph.D., University Distinguished Professor of Marketing, Regents Professor, and Presidential Professor for Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M University, among other roles.
  • Beth Daley Ullem, nationally-recognized expert for creating initiatives aimed at decreasing preventable hospital errors and increasing the transparency of clinical outcomes.

"Each of these new board members brings a unique perspective to solving the problems faced in healthcare," said Center CEO John Toussaint, MD. "We are excited to learn and grow through their leadership as we advance our mission of transforming healthcare."

2015 Lean Leadership Series: Get All Your Learning in One Place

The Center is hosting two multi-day Lean Leadership Series in 2015--the first of which takes place in Salem, Oregon next April. Join your peers to learn and practice essential lean leadership concepts. 

 

You can develop your own learning track by registering for up to three sessions on a broad range of topics, while spending time with fellow lean leaders.

Keynotes Announced for 2015 Summit: Save the Date!

John Toussaint, MD, and lean guru Jim Womack are back for keynote addresses at next year's Lean Healthcare Transformation Summit, co-hosted by the Center and the Lean Enterprise Institute. They'll be joined by:

  • Beth Daley Ullem, transparency expert and patient advocate
  • Ann Boynton, deputy executive officer, benefit programs policy and planning at CalPERS
