Sat Nam Sat Nam! ,
The 11-11-11 and Grand Opening celebration was beyond the most optimistic expectations! We had more than 80 amazing people celebrating together throughout the day. From 11 am 'till 11ish pm, we did yoga, meditated, danced, laughed, sweated, and enjoyed incredible artists, such as astonishing Butoh dance performer Lena Ang and Spirit Fest artist Harnam Singh. We ate divine food provided by Professional Vegan Chef Trish Sebben-Krupka. Other highlights were the higher and radiant energy of Ramdesh Kaur, and the wisdom and refined sense of humor of Master teacher Hari Nam Singh Khalsa whose presence and down to earth lecture allowed us to connect in a profound way with Yogi Bhajan's teachings. The Aquarian meditations and Celestial Communications were lead by all our teaching staff; they did a brilliant, inspiring job. Our knowledgeable guest teachers from New York: Nam Jot, Agochar and Sukh Atma Kaur sealed an authentic journey into the Aquarian Age, a time for getting together as one heart as we did yesterday at AquarianYoga, more than a yoga center: YOUR SPIRITUAL HOME!

Try some of the new exciting classes at AquarianYoga:
Yoga at 6 AM- Starting the day with a Kundalini class in the Amrit Vela (hours before sunrise) magnifies the practice and gives you a deep centering that will stay with you the rest of the day. Kristen's classes will assume we're all beginners and progress to greater heights of awareness, peace, and happiness. You will feel immediate benefits from this Raj (royal) yoga; with sustained practice, those around you will feel the peace, love and light you project. Results are guaranteed if you show up. So let us say "Good Morning Sunshine!" together.
Yoga for Kids - Come join us for a fun way for your child to stay healthy. Your child will increase his/her confidence, flexibility and sense of self. Come play, relax, shake, dance, move, jump, color, meditate and have lots of fun. Lead by Kundalini Yoga teacher Kree O'Conor/Siri Devta Kaur.
Kundalini Yoga Basics- If you're new to Kundalini Yoga, this is the class for you. We will emphasize the practices and techniques that you'll find in most Kundalini classes, such as breath of fire, mulabandh, and using the mantra SatNam. Come enjoy a non-competitive, encouraging environment and discover the richness of this yogic tradition. If you are familiar with Kundalini Yoga, you are still more than welcome to join this class. It will be a full session, including at least one kriya and meditation, so you can have the complete experience.
Chair Yoga-- Chair yoga is for everyone! It is a gentle form of yoga practiced in a chair or on a stool. Poses are adaptations of basic Hatha yoga poses and modified Kundalini kriyas (sets). Chair yoga is perfect for
the student who is unable to participate in a more traditional yoga class. Chairs and stools are used to avoid the difficulty of getting up or down off the floor.
Yoga for Prosperity-
Prosperity is not about wealth or property. It is about fulfillment of your destiny. It is about clarity amidst distractions and diversions. Prosperity is all around us and within us. It is the ability to find, organize, and use the resources we need to fulfill our highest destiny and identity. We can ask the world for what we need with confidence and complete success. In this class you will learn and practice yogic proven techniques to attract prosperity to your life.

"Make an attitude to be in gratitude, you will find the whole Universe will come to you." Yogi Bhajan~
The only way a relationship between you and God can be established is if you become grateful and build up a standard of gratitude. Only then can you be happy in life. Only then will you be fulfilled in life. Only then will fulfillment come in life. Because in God we trust and in God we dwell.
The attitude of gratitude is the highest way of living, and is the biggest truth, the highest truth. You cannot live with applied consciousness until you understand that you have to be grateful for what you have. If you are grateful for what you have, then Mother Nature will give you more. Because this Universe is made by God by one universal rule...read more (Excerpts from a lecture by Yogi Bhajan, August 30, 1991) |

New Moon & Healing Gong
with Akalsukh Singh
Come join us for this special event in a safe and uplifting environment.
The New Moon gives us special energy to heal at all levels, physical, emotional and spiritual. It is also a time to plant new seeds for growth and prosperity. A healing ring meditation magnifies the intensity of our intentions through the combined energies of the individuals in the group.
In addition to creating a powerful sense of unity and sharing, the energy of the healing ring can be used to generate positive energy toward members of the group, loved ones at a distance, the community, and the world.
Come join us for this special event as we gather together to make a powerful claim to overcome our collective challenges while manifesting all of our intentions happily and quickly in the months ahead.
We'll start with a pranayam, short yoga set, followed with meditation and a Healing Ring.
This event will conclude with a long session of deep meditative relaxation with the Healing Gong.
Gong Yoga has profound healing abilities. Immediate effects are common, since blood circulation is increased to bring in fresh nutrients, and will continue healing for days after the class. Students participating in multiple gong classes accumulate the most healing benefits. Eat lightly two hours prior to the session. Read more... |
"The New Moon Celebration was a wonderful experience for me. This was my third workshop with Akalsukh and once again the whole experience was beyond my expectations. I felt so connected to all the participants there, to my higher self, to the universe. Akalsukh knows exactly what kriya and mantra to use to achieve that state where you just give in and free yourself of all negativity and uplift yourself and everyone around you. Two days later and this feeling is still with me. I know in my heart the transformation I have been going through for the past year is directly influenced by Kundalini yoga and Akalsukh's amazing ability as a spiritual teacher. I don't want to miss any of his workshops and I can't wait for the next one! Hope to see you there! Sat Nam" ~ Karolina |
"I experienced a powerful release, so gentle and loving that there is no doubt I would want to let go of more! More of what simply does not serve. The group dynamic offers support and opened me to the diverse experiences of the others in the group. When the ceremony was complete there was an unsaid bond, a joyous connection of our highest form of ourselves. The gong was magical as I felt all the cells in my body dancing to the vibration. It is now 3 days after the meditation and ceremony and I continue to carry the bliss and feel the cleanse and rejuvenation." Carissa |
"The atmosphere was beautiful and friendly . It was very impressive to see so many people attending this event. The energy in the room was serene and peaceful, yet very powerful. Some of the exercises allowed me to face some of my own strengths and weaknesses, at different levels. Attending the event was definitely a very positive step towards my spiritual growth and understanding of Kundalini yoga. Totally enjoyed the event." - A.V. |
Butoh Dance Series
4 weeks workshop taught by Lena Ang
Saturday November 26, 1-3pm
Butoh is a dance that taps into the primordial in all of us to draw out movement expression

that lay hidden. The typical experience one gains from a Butoh improvisation is that of spontaneous physical release, meditative flow of energy and connection to oneself and the larger surrounding.
In all sessions, the body is first warmed up through a series of breath-coordinated movements. This is followed by meditation and Butoh improvisation.
