Thanks to one (anonymous) student who has been so positively impacted by kundalini yoga since s/he started attending my classes that s/he decided to make the enormously generous offer of being the sole investor in a new yoga center.

The way this project has been manifested was unexpectedly fast, and with a series of synchronicities that are clearly aligned with the times we are living in, the Aquarian times.
This project is a direct result of a dream...your dream, my dream and the dream of many like you that hold high a vision for a better world, knowing that all starts within us.
It is also a direct result of the most pure devotion and compassion of some of you that through the power of a committed practice and prayer, have been the unseen force which created such unfolding.
I would like to share my vision for this center! Much more than a yoga studio, Aquarian Yoga aims to be your spiritual home. A comfortable place to convene, study, grow and connect. Highlights of what's in store include:
- Kundalini Yoga classes 7 days a week, morning 'til evening
- Pre-natal yoga and yoga classes for children.
- Other distinct yoga styles led by master teachers.
- International Aquarian Teacher Training Level One in Kundalini Yoga & Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
- Yoga Teacher Training for parents, educators, psychologists, etc interested in offering creative, fun and yoga-oriented activities for children ages 3-12
- A Yoga for Youth program will be developed to support, guide and assist our teenagers.
- Full- and half-day workshops and events most weekends, e.g. kirtans, concerts, lectures, film viewings, etc.
- Yogi Tea Café - a cozy, artsy space for reading, visiting with friends, listening to music, watching an inspiring documentary; offering plenty of Yogi Tea, fresh smoothies, and healthy organic fare. Poetry, book signing and art from local and international artists on a rotating basis.
- Bookstore with Kundalini Yoga and other inspiring books, Kundalini Music, yoga clothes, essential oils, and more.
Aquarian Yoga Center is a haven for yoga, connection and the integral support needed to embrace life with courage, dignity and grace. It is your spiritual home, it is your divine family; let's build it together!
Perhaps by now you're feeling inspired too? We greatly need and would so appreciate the help of our whole community and friends to raise the remaining funds necessary to make this a grand success. There are plenty of easy ways to contribute, and many that will also benefit you directly.
Here are some suggestions of how to participate in this exciting push forward:
- Increase your class attendance by one, two or more classes per week
- Purchase a class package now even if you don't have time to attend: packages save you money and never expire
- Been thinking about private instruction? Do it now!
- Treat yourself to Gong Therapy and Healing Touch sessions
- Give the gift of yoga and inspiration - classes and private sessions are perfect gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, milestones and holidays
- Instead of purchasing Kundalini books, music, dvd's and oil elsewhere, buy directly from Akalsukh's website or save on shipping/handling and buy at his home studio
If life has blessed you with a generous open heart, wealth or skills, please:
- Offer to furnish specific items needed for the studio - shelving, curtains, backjacks, floor cushions, etc.
- Donate your skills and time in your area of expertise
- Offer a monetary donation in one of these ways:
- A one-time donation
- Each time you buy classes add a donation to the purchase price
- To commemorate a special occasion, donate on behalf of someone else
Any level of contribution is welcome and will definitely make an impact. Seva, or selfless service, is an attitude as much as an action. It makes a difference, it's uplifting, and it just feels good! Please join us in making Aquarian Yoga Center the best it can be. After all, it will be here to serve all of us.
