Beat the Heat while Entertaining

and Celebrate the 4th with Style (and Safety!)

The Fourth of July is a great excuse for a summer party.  But with temperatures soaring, its a good idea to keep in mind the fact that nothing can destroy a party like too much heat.  Click here to read some great tips for keeping your guests cool and comfortable while entertaining.

Unfortunately, Independence Day can also be a very busy day for our local emergency services.  Your best bet is always to leave the fireworks to the professionals and find a great local display to enjoy.  However, if you choose to celebrate with your own fireworks, please do so with caution, and click here to read up on some important fireworks safety tips.  Have a terrific, and safe, 4th of July!
Greetings!

sparkly-4-july.jpg On July 4th in 1776, the Continental Congress approved the Declaration of Independence, setting the 13 colonies on the road to freedom as a sovereign nation. As always, this most American of holidays will be marked with red, white and blue flags, fireworks, parades and backyard barbecues across the country.

We hope that your Independence Day celebration is full of fun, family and friends!  It's supposed to be a hot one, so be sure to drink lots of water, find a shady spot to relax, and read these tips on ways to beat the heat!

Dreaming of Party-Ready Pools?

There's nothing like a good, long heat wave to leave you dreaming of a cool, refreshing dip in the pool.  Many of us would settle for a lounge in the backyard kiddie pool or a stint under the sprinkler if it gets hot enough.  But let's face it, what we're really dreaming of is a little luxury, some privacy, maybe some lush green accents or a little waterfall.  And there's nothing wrong with a good daydream, or maybe even collecting some wish list ideas for a future project.  Click here to read about some party-ready, professionally designed pools sure to delight and inspire you.
