Mother's Day Inspiration!

Mother's Day is known as a day of popsicle stick photo frames and burnt-toast breakfasts-in-bed.  And while these heartfelt gifts always put a smile on mom's face, perhaps you could use a little inspiration to help celebrate in a way that's memorable and meaningful for mom.  Click here for some very creative ideas to make the day extra-special.

Let's face it, being a mom is serious work.  Long hours, menial labor, and oftentimes there are few breaks and scant rewards. Sometimes the moms in our lives just need a good laugh. If you're on the lookout for a unique Mother's Day gift that will give mom a good chuckle, click here.

"I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have mom-daughter-field.jpg clung to me all my life"     ~Abraham Lincoln

This time of year, we want to take time to acknowledge the blessing of mothers, and recognize the debt of gratitude we owe to the many wonderful mothers in our lives.  Take time to thank and encourage a mother you know with a note, a phone call, or even the gift of your time.

Maybe you'd enjoy a trip with mom to the Camas Mother's Day Plant & Garden Fair, held May 9th (the day before Mother's Day). This very popular fair is not only an opportunity to shop for a great Mother's Day gift from local growers and vendors, but it promises a day of fun kids' activities, live music, fresh food, and leisurely shopping.  The shops and restaurants of Downtown Camas all add to the community experience. Wishing you and yours a Happy Mother's Day!

Putting Kids Behind the Wheel at Dozer Days!
Do you have a child who is just itching to be behind the wheel of a big rig? Are they excited by the site of construction equipment or the flashing lights and sirens of a fire truck?  Dozer Day may be the event for you!

Sponsored by The Nutter Family Foundation, a non-profit focusing on the needs of children, The Dozer Day annual event puts kids in the driver's seat of real heavy construction equipment, fire engines, ambulances and much more, all while educating about building sustainable communities, industry opportunities and public safety. In addition Dozer Day also provides funding for children's charities.  Dozer Day 2015 is happening May 16th and 17th from 11am to 4pm  at the Clark County Fairgrounds.  Click here for tickets or for more information.

What's New at The Boys & Girls Club?

There's so much going on at the Boys & Girls Club this spring!  Earlier this month, 11 of our Keystone Club teens went to the National Keystone Conference in Orlando, Florida. They joined 1,600 other Boys & Girls Club teens from around the world. Together, these community-minded teens dreamed of how to better their Clubs, schools, communities and ultimately, their own future.
The group heard from inspiring performers and speakers, explored future careers, participated in community service projects and even took a quick trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Clark County Title Company is proud to support the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Washington, a club dedicated to changing lives, inspiring hope and ensuring positive futures.  Click here to read more about this active community outreach and their current programs and activities.
