The "April Fools" of Cowlitz County Title
Think the Cowlitz County Title staff is limited to only providing the best service in title and escrow? Think again. In celebration of April Fool's Day, check out this (totally made-up) list of "hidden talents of CCT employees."
1. You might think that they're out spending time with precious grandbabies when they're away from their desks -- but the reality is that Title Officers Arlene Reynolds and Dyann Crayne are responsible for coining the "12th Man" phrase and are the leaders of a Seahawks groupie underground (pictured, below).
2. Melanie Gwynn, escrow assistant, currently holds the Guinness World Record for "largest living squirrel collection," and will be displaying her brood of caged critters at this year's squirrel fest -- including the fatty pictured with her, below.
3. Speaking of hidden talents, very few people know about Terry Woodruff's current gig: when a certain famous guitarist is "sleeping off" last night's post-perfomance party, Terry moonlights as bass player for the Eagles. Catch him in concert during this most recent tour...
4. If hearing the voice of Receptionist Kristy Norman on the phone has reminded you of the lilting tones of Disney princesses, it's not a mistake. Kristy spends her weekends touring as Princess Belle with "Disney on Ice."

Are you getting enough Vitamin D?
It can be difficult to get enough Vitamin D while living in Washington, especially during the gray months, but it is vital to our overall health. Do the following to make sure you get an adequate amount of Vitamin D, even while the sun is hiding. Exercise regularly Physical activity helps with the body's natural production of Vitamin D. Eat nutrient rich foods Although diet alone typically does not provide enough Vitamin D, eating Vitamin D rich foods such as eggs, liver and salmon can be helpful. Take a supplement Some people may benefit from a Vitamin D supplement, but should consult a physician before taking any new medications. Get outside (and show property!) When the sun is shining, being outside for a limited amount of sun exposure is a great, natural way to make sure you are getting enough Vitamin D. |
