Pam McCormick Celebrates 29 Years!

pam

Congratulations to Pam McCormick, who is celebrating her 29th year here at Cowlitz County Title -- which is only one year shy of when Cowlitz County Title opened their doors for business!  Pam wears many hats in the office including but not limited to, Recording Clerk, Bookkeeper, Policy Reporting, Computer Software Support and Maintenance,  Reconveyance Clerk, etc. etc.  So when asked what Pam does, we just say "she does everything"!

Pam is married to Greg who is a teacher at Mark Morris High School.  They have a daughter, Taylor who serves in the Army and a son Alex who is a senior at Kelso High School.  Alex will be attending Washington State University next year, so she foresees many road trips in the future.  GO COUGS!  She and her husband keep busy by attending Alex's sporting events, walking the lake, taking trips to the beach and venturing around Portland and Seattle.  Pam enjoys a variety of craft projects and gardening.  She says her current enjoyment is "junking" which is all about bringing something rusty and old back to life, her husband Greg being a great example (as she says with a chuckle).

Thank you for your dedication and years of service!

March is National Nutrition Month!

This year's theme is Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day.  National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign created annually in March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, formerly the American Dietetic Association.  The campaign focuses attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.  Initiated in March 1973 as a week-long event "National Nutrition Week" became a month long observance in 1980 in response to growing public interest in nutrition.  Rate Your Plate to find out if you're eating right by visiting the website which has some fun games and quiz's for children and adults all ages!
