During the spring, summer and fall we enjoy trail riding; whether it be a short day ride or up to two-week long pack trips in the Rocky Mountains. In the winter we pull out the sleighs and enjoy the snowy weather sleigh riding in our local area. We are for all levels of riding experience and can provide everything from the horse to all the tack and gear needed. We are open to suggestions and love catering to custom ideas. Previous adventures include overnight groups, wagon rides, birthdays, ladies' weekends, family weekends at our private campsite and honeymoon pack trips.
Strathcona Ventures represents a new generation of products and services for horse health, comfort and safety.
All products meet the highest level of safety, quality and environmental protection.

| Insurance - Weekly Accident Indemnity
|
A common question posed to Capri Insurance when a member suffers an injury is: "Does my AEF membership cover me for lost wages? I was unable to work as a result of my accident." Unless the member has purchased the optional Weekly Accident Indemnity insurance the answer is "no". The Weekly Accident Indemnity (WAI) insurance provides income replacement in the event you are unable to work due to an accident, and includes, but is not limited to, injuries resulting from an equine related accident. Cover yourself and your wages, and apply for the WAI today. You must meet certain requirements in order to be eligible to purchase this optional insurance. Check it out!
WAI can be added to your existing membership at any time. Simply log in and select "Add Insurance, Ride and Drive or Donations to Existing AEF Membership" or call the AEF office. For more information on this coverage or any of the other optional coverages which can be added to your AEF Membership at any time, check out our Optional Insurance page or the Capri Summary of Insurance, or give Capri Insurance a call directly at 1-800-670-1877.

Fire Season Starts March 1, 2016
|
The 2016 wildfire season will officially start on March 1st. An early start to the wildfire season ensures firefighters are recruited, trained and positioned to respond quickly to any wildfires that happen in the early spring.
Do your part to prevent wildfires this spring. Although it's cold and there is snow on the ground, the mild and dry winter conditions are favorable for holdover fires. A fire left smoldering can burn under the snow all winter long emerging as a wildfire in the spring.
Click here for more information on the 2016 fire season.
