A Reward Program for Recreational Riders
Log Your Hours and get Rewards!

The Alberta Equestrian Federation is proud to offer this program to help promote active living within Alberta.  We always enjoy hearing our riders' and drivers' wonderful stories about how they achieved their Ride and Drive Hour Levels.  Those who complete the 1000 hour and 2000 hour levels are featured in our monthly e-news, posted on the Ride and Drive webpage and featured in Alberta Bits magazine.  Sign up today and become part of the Ride and Drive Community; earn rewards for the time you were going to spend in the saddle or behind the breeching anyway!
Lisa Peeters Reaches the 1000 Hour Ride and Drive Milestone!

Lisa Peeters joined Ride and Drive in 2012 mainly out of curiosity to keep track of how many hours she spent in the saddle.  With the help of her horse Elex Z and a team of miniature horses she drove for fun, Lisa has already reached the 1000 hour milestone!  Lisa also puts time behind the breeching of her dad's team of Percherons whenever she is home.  Every fall she competes in the Heavy Horse Log skid at her local rodeo and during the winter occasionally helps her dad out with hay/sleigh rides.
