Back up (on call) volunteers are required for both days and for all positions.  They are only contacted prior to, or during the Casino in the event that another scheduled volunteer is unable to fulfill their shift.  Back up volunteers are not required to be at the casino unless they have been contacted to fill a cancellation, but they should live within an hours drive of Calgary as they may be required with short notice.
