Midwest Mission Distribution Center Mission Trip
|
The Midwest Mission Distribution Center in Chatham IL (near Springfield) is an upcoming mission trip, scheduled for Monday through Wednesday, March 14-16, 2016. The MMDC is a staging area for disaster supplies collection, preparation, packing, and storage. The missioner work varies from construction to flood bucket packing to health kit preparation to cutting and sewing of cloth book bags and more as the opportunity arises. Private rooms, restrooms & showers, a kitchen, etc are all contained in the missioners lodge. A fee of $100/missioner will be used to defray the cost of our housing at MMDC. Car-pooling will be arranged. Contact the MUMC Church office (234-0776) or Dave Voltmer (877-1626) to sign up or for more information. Don't delay as time for planning is growing short.

TransforMission July 10-16, 2016

TransforMission is a mission camp designed to help High School & Middle School youth experience what it means to live out the Great Commission (not just one week in the summer, but every day).
Engaging morning and evening worship and small group sessions, super fun group activities, relationship building with other UMC youth groups, and serving with some of the best mission agencies in Indianapolis, make this a powerful week for all involved!
