H. Kallajian and Jack Cook
Faith Community of the Year
Henrietta Kallajian is thrilled to receive the "Faith Community of the Year" award on behalf of the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection in New Britain.  It is presented by the Rev. Jack Cook, senior minister at First Church in New Britain, last year's recipient congregation.  The Armenian Church provides a complete meal each month for shelter residents; special meals and gifts each Thanksgiving and Christmas; and annual collections of food, toiletries and coats.  Members of the congregation also walk each year in the Walk Against Hunger to benefit the Friendship Center.
