Greetings!

Greetings to all and Happy Holidays!  In this issue, we are sharing ways for you to "weave Reiki" into your holiday season.
This gentle healing energy can offer serenity and balance on every level-- physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Reiki for You
Holidays can be energetically depleting. It is a time where expectations run very high. We can sometimes feel tired, anxious, sad, or disappointed. It is important to take time to show loving kindness to yourself.  Here is a simple exercise: stand before a mirror, place your Reiki hands over your heart and simply smile at yourself for a few minutes. Gaze at yourself with eyes of love and total acceptance. One of my favorite mantras is "I am calm from above, I am peace, I am love."

Reiki for Family Situations
Spending time with family during the holidays can be stressful for many reasons. Before such gatherings, find time to offer Reiki to yourself for a few minutes. Then send distant Reiki to the upcoming event or situation and to the people involved for the highest good of all. During family gatherings, you can also excuse yourself for some quiet Reiki time to calm and ground yourself.

Reiki for Others
Let's be mindful that many people do not have friends or family with whom to share holidays. There are also those who have lost loved ones near the holidays which can create a sense of sadness and loss. You can send distant Reiki to those who have difficult times during the holidays. You can also send Reiki to loved ones who are far away.

Reiki baking
Infuse your holiday cooking and baking with Reiki. Allow Reiki to flow as you bake your breads and cookies or put together your holiday meals. Give intent that Reiki blessings be given to everyone who shares these foods.

Reiki and Gifts
Spend some quiet Reiki time to think about your gift gifting practices. Sometimes we buy gifts just for the sake of giving something. Consider making a donation to a special charity in honor of the person. Or give the gift of time. Plan an outing that will be special for the recipient. This is a wonderful gift especially for children and elderly folks.

Reiki and Holiday Activities
Spend some quiet Reiki time to plan your holiday activities. Consider choosing activities that are meaningful for you rather than participating out of habit or a sense of obligation. Seek ways to be of service to others both personally and as a family. Participate in activities that will be joyful and create treasured memories both for you and your family.

Reiki your Space
You can fill your home with the peace and serenity of Reiki. Send Reiki through out your entire home from your hands, your heart, and your eyes. Visualize that beautiful, warm Reiki energy flowing into each room.  You can state, "I bless my home with light and love." Spend a few minutes repeating this mantra or create an intention of your own. You can do a moving meditation by walking through your home and filling your living spaces with this lovely, peaceful energy.
