The Reiki Share Project at Planetree Live!
An international healthcare conference with attendees from all over the world---what a great opportunity to highlight the practice of Reiki!
"Planetree Live" is the interactive segment of the conference featuring innovative, patient centered programs. TRSP participated by offering "chair Reiki" sessions to attendees. Four Reiki practitioners--Heather McCutcheon, Karen Jendruczyk, Larry Dunbar & Mary Lynn Carver--joined Jane Van De Velde in the TRSP booth and in two hours we offered 50+ sessions. Many were healthcare professionals experiencing Reiki for the very first time. We shared information about Reiki practice; the mission and vision of TRSP, and the Reiki volunteer program at EMHC Center for Cancer Care. Reiki was very well received!
