Greetings!

Autumn might be here but that doesn't mean the pace of life in the New Forest National Park has slowed down.

There is still time to take the New Forest Tour, which offers great views of the landscape from an open top bus, and provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy trees in autumn, and pigs let out on the Forest this time of year.

If you are a food lover, find out more about New Forest Marque member, the Royal Oak, in Fritham. It has just been voted 'pub of the year' by the Good Pub Guide.

For tree-lovers, there will be an exhibition at the New Forest Centre about ancient and veteran trees, in the New Forest.

Finally, the clocks go back at the end of October, which often leads to an increase in animal accidents. Read 'top tips' on how to drive safely this winter and what to do if you witness an accident.

Best wishes,

The New Forest National Park Authority team
