Greetings!

If you are at the New Forest Show (24-26 July) come and say hello to us in the New Forest Corner. We have all sorts of exciting things on offer, but this year's highlight has to be our 'New Forest Remembers'-Untold Stories of World War II project.

You can discover the vital role the New Forest played during World War II, try and break our secret code and even sit in the cockpit of a Spitfire aeroplane.

In this newsletter you can find out more about our jam-packed events programme which is full of activities that are free or low cost. If you want to leave your car at home hop on the New Forest Tour, an open top bus that explores the New Forest on two interchangeable routes, popular with residents and tourists alike.

Also in this edition read our response to the much anticipated forestry report about the future of England's woodlands.

Have a great summer exploring the National Park.

Best wishes,

The New Forest National Park Authority team
