Please remember to pay your $35 Annual Dues this month. Families can donate to the Tiger Fund, pay Annual Dues and PTO Dues by CHECK or CASH, or ONLINE by credit card or PayPal. For more information on how to donate online, go to www.dunwoodypto.com and click on "PTO Dues, Annual Dues and Tiger Fund" in the "Get Involved" section. If paying by check or cash, please complete the form that was sent home in your child's TIP folder last week and return your completed form and payment to the PTO mailbox located in the school lobby. Scholastic Book Fair
DES Book Fair Coming Soon!
Dunwoody Elementary's Spring Scholastic Book Fair is Wednesday, March 18th through Friday, March 20th.
Book Fair is almost here and we can't wait to see you there! We will be open before and after school and will have special hours to coincide with the many school-wide events that are planned for Book Fair Week!
Book Fair Hours
Tuesday: Teacher Preview 2:30pm to 4:00pm
Wednesday: 7:00 to 7:30am & 2:30 to 6:00pm (extended hours for Parent/Teacher Conferences)
Thursday: 7:00 to 7:30am & 5:00 to 7:00pm (extended hours for Family Dinner Night/Math and Science Night!)
Friday: 7:00-7:30am
Book Fair is a great opportunity to encourage your children to read with the fabulous selection of books available from Scholastic. Your child should have received a flyer with book titles and information on the great selection that is available this year. Proceeds from the Book Fair are used to fund school events, add to classroom libraries and to provide reading instruction for the entire school.
Book Bucks
If you are interested, you can give your teacher "book bucks" to use at the fair; monies that allow them to buy much needed reading materials for their classroom. Book bucks can be purchased in $5.00 increments and you may give as many you wish. Forms were sent home in your child's TIP folder on March 5th. Please return them to the PTO mailbox in the front lobby of the school by Friday, March 13th.
