REGISTRATION DAY INFORMATION:
PTO is going green by going paperless! No more PTO forms to fill out on Registration Day. All parents will enter information electronically, using the form below, either at home or on computers available on Registration Day. Pay the suggested Tiger Fund amount of $125 prior to Registration Day and receive a DES Fast Pass. With a DES Fast Pass parents are only required to stop at two stations: Proof of Residency and Transportation. In addition, the DES Fast Pass allows parents to by-pass long lines, by moving to the front of the line, at both the Proof of Residency and Transportation stations. Click on the link below for your DES Fast Pass, and register from the comfort of your home to avoid the lines!
Also, this year the PTO is only collecting for Tiger Fund, Annual Dues, and PTO Dues during the on-line registration and on Registration Day. Parents will be able to purchase Spirit Wear and recorders for 3rd graders on Registration Day, but nothing else will be sold. Funds for Yearbook, Tour de Dunwoody, and the 5th grade celebration will be collected later in the school year.
Registration Day is Wednesday, August 6th, 7:30am-12:30pm
What You Need:
Please remember: parents and children can meet their teacher and drop off school supplies on Registration Day.
We look forward to seeing you on August 6th!

DES Families,
Now is the time to gather Box Tops you've collected over the summer and turn them in once school begins.
What is a Box Top?!
They are those little rectangles that look like the one above found on commonly used items such as General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker products, Ziplocs, Yoplait, Pillsbury, and so many more! When you see these, clip them, and put them in a plastic baggie labeled with your child's name, homeroom, and the number of Box Tops on the bag! Any number turned in is appreciated, but for every 50 collected, your child's name will be entered into a raffle. Five names will be drawn in the fall and the spring, and prizes awarded! The homeroom class collecting the most Box Tops by the above dates will receive popsicles on the playground during recess or a prize!
Each one of these Box Tops is worth $0.10 in CASH to DES! These funds can be utilized for anything the school deems appropriate such as technology enhancements, teacher training, playground improvements, AND MORE!
Our goal this year is to raise $2500 with funds generated from Box Tops!
To learn more, and for a complete list of products as well as information about e-Box Tops, please visit www.btfe.com!
Please share this information with grandparents, neighbors, and friends! All of these people want your child's school to be as successful as it can be, so have them join our efforts!
Thanks for your support and assistance with this project!
Please contact Megan Cann with any questions!
