Police Incident in South DeKalb County
Parents,
Earlier today, there was a police incident at McNair Discover Learning Academy in South DeKalb County. In response, the District alerted all schools to conduct a Level 1 Lockdown which restricts public access to the school and forbids outside activities for students. Students continued with normal learning activities while staff members monitored all entry points to the building. The situation was handled discreetly and was over within an hour.
