School Council Elections
School Council elections for parent representatives will take place Thursday, April 25, from 7:00am - 7:30pm. All parents of students currently attending Dunwoody Elementary School are eligible and encouraged to vote. We will be electing 4 parent representatives, each who will serve a 2-year term on School Council from 2013-1015. Additionally, due to special circumstances, we will be electing a fifth member to fulfill the unexpired term of one of our current parent representatives who will not be returning to DES next year. That 5th member will finish out the unexpired term and will sit on School Council for only the 2013-14 school year.

Visiting Illustrator Michael White
Visiting Illustrator, Michael White, returns to DES this Friday, April 19!
That's right, Michael will join us again to visit with our pre-K, Kindergarten and 5th grade classes. If you have a book illustrated by Michael and want him to autograph it, please have your child bring the book to the media center on Friday upon arrival to the school. Also include a note as to the name that you want Michael to sign the book to.
