The holiday season is here and it's time to finish up those last minute Christmas projects! The shop has been busy with folks looking for the final few things they need to help them complete their holiday gifts. If you need any help or have any questions, stop by the shop and we'll be happy to lend you a hand.

Needle Felted Chickadee Class
Needle Felted Chickadees Sutter's Gold 'n Fleece will hold the next needle felting class on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 9:00 AM to Noon! The finished project will be a cute little black-capped chickadee that can be used as an ornament or just for decoration in your home. These classes have been a lot of fun and we hope you can join us!

Tip of the Month 


To work in the "tails" when finishing a garment, duplicate-stitch the ends on the purl side. If you're using wool, the stitches will generally stay in place with no problem. If you're using a cotton or a slippery yarn like rayon, it's helpful to separate the yarn strand into two plies and duplicate stitch in opposite directions or work diagonally.
