Needle Felted Chickadees
Needle Felted Chickadees Sutter's Gold 'n Fleece held it's first ever needle felting class on Friday, July 25! The finished project was a cute little black-capped chickadee that can be used as an ornament or just for decoration in your home. We had a lot of fun making needle felted chickadees in our first ever needle felting class! Special thanks to the four ladies who stuck with it to make the flock pictured in this photo. We are planning to offer this class again in the fall.

WEAVING IN ENDS

To work in the "tails" when finishing a garment, duplicate-stitch the ends on the purl side. If you're using wool, the stitches will generally stay in place with no problem. If you're using a cotton or a slippery yarn like rayon, it's helpful to separate the yarn strand into two plies and duplicate stitch in opposite directions or work diagonally.
