BREAKING NEWS: The Desert Classic has been selected to participate in a new television series about Pro/Am ballroom competition which will be aired on The Learning Channel! Film crews will be with us all weekend. Get full details in this newsletter.

These legendary champions began dancing together in their teens winning 18 titles including six times Standard Show Dance World Champion. Blackpool finalists and European Standard Champions.

| Desert Classic to be Filmed for Television! |  Breaking News! We just learned that the Desert Classic will be featured in Season 1 of an exciting new series about Pro-Am competitions in the United States. This new program promises to take the dancing world by storm. A television film crew will follow three Pro-Am couples as they practice, prepare and compete at the 2013 Desert Classic! Please come and be a part of the audience where we'll show the world what Pro/Am Dancesport competition is really about. Season 1 will be a 6-part series to be aired on The Learning Channel. It's going to be fantastic.

Our lineup of world class officials is now posted on our website. We are very happy to bring back John DePalma and Mark Weiss as our 2013 emcees. Our adjudicators include some familiar faces and a few new ones too.
