Cruise the World, Dance Your Dreams with Platinum Sponsor, Dancers at Sea
|
 | Wouldn't you like to be in the picture too? |
Wendy Olsen founded Dancers At Sea in 1996 as a solution to what she saw as a void in the vacation cruise experience for people who love to ballroom dance. The voyages she organizes are a dance enthusiast's dream come true!
DAS offers a 1:3 host-to-guest ratio to make certain that everyone dances to their heart's content. In addition, Wendy personally selects each ship to make certain that the quality and size of the dance floor will meet a ballroom dancer's requirements. Two or more professional dancers accompany every cruise to teach group and private lessons and dance with guests every evening. Of course all this is in addition to visiting exotic ports across the globe!
DAS arranges cabin mates for single travelers who always end up making lots of friends with other "Dancers at Sea" since everyone shares a love for ballroom dance. Many travelers have made lifetime friends on the cruises and now cruise with DAS together.
Wendy invites you to "Cruise the World and Dance Your Dreams" on one of their upcoming voyages. Included in this issue is a coupon for $100 off an upcoming cruise. Visit the DAS website for full details.

Project Kindness (We'd like you to be a part of it)
|
The Desert Classic is giving "kindness awards" to recognize good deeds. We've experienced much kindness from others in our lives and are grateful for the blessings. We finally decided to do something about it and are calling it "Project Kindness."
The plan has one simple goal: to encourage people to do something nice for someone else. There are many ways to accomplish this. Here are some ideas ... buy a friend a ballroom ticket, donate a pair of shoes to a child, pay for a solo video for someone, give some sort of surprise to a friend or loved one ... or anything else you can think of. It can be anything -- like the student who is giving a special friend a spa treatment.
We want to hear from you if you want to do something. (Of course, if you prefer, you may remain anonymous.) We simply want to find a way to encourage good deeds in our community and to bring smiles to peoples' faces. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. ~Aesop~ |
