Greetings!
We are headed to Palm Desert tomorrow to get everything ready for you! Thank you for your incredible support of our competition. We know you have many choices.
We are very sorry to announce that Luca & Lorraine Baricchi will be unable to perform for you on Saturday evening. Their beloved brother-in-law and business partner, Scott Montague, recently passed away at the young age of 33. The Barrichis are griefstriken and need to take some time off to recover from the loss. They know that many of you were very much looking forward to seeing them and they send you their deep regrets.
But, don't worry! We were able to book an incredible replacement show with Max Kozhevnikov and Beata. They have graciously agreed to perform for you Saturday night. We are very thankful for their offer to help at the very last minute. You can read more details about this fabulous couple in this newsletter.

Max Kozhevnikov & Beata to Perform on Saturday Evening!
We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to enjoy an incredible show with Max and Beata. Dancing together since 2007, they bring a breathtaking list of professional titles and accomplishments to their partnership.
Max's titles include: World Professional Showdance Champion, US Showdance Champion, US Professional Latin Champion, North American Professional Latin Champion, Blackpool, International and World Champion.
Beata is a former World Amateur Latin, Open British (Blackpool), UK Open, US Open, German Open, and Swiss Open Champion. As an amateur, she remained undefeated.

Photography & Videography Reminder: Sorry, but private photography or video taping of events is not permitted in the ballroom. Parents of Juvenile, Juniors, Pre-Teen and Teddy Bears may purchase a video pass for Sunday matinee events. See details in the coupon in this email.

 En Memoriam: The Friday Evening IDSF Latin Competitions will be dedicated to the memory of Scott Montague, 33 who passed away in June. Scott, a former IDSF competitor, and British Open Under 21 Latin Champion was c0-owner of Arthur Murray Dance School of Tampa, Florida USA. Scott, brother-in-law of Luca & Loraine Barrichi, is survived by his lovely wife Michelle.

The Desert Classic permits parents to use their personal video cameras to record their children's events with the purchase a $25 Video Pass available at the Desert Classic Registration Desk.
The video pass is valid ONLY DURING THE SUNDAY MATINEE for Juvenile, Junior, Pre-Teen and Teddy Bear Events. A special wrist band will be issued to you which must be worn when recording.
The Desert Classic does not permit any other private photography or video taping of events without express written permission from the organizers. |
