Commitment to Diversity Scholastic Competition    

Joram Kiriungi, a nursing student who was born and raised in Kenya, Kate Murphy, a local artist and community volunteer majoring in Liberal Arts, and Renee Chandler, a human services major and poet, are the winners of MWCC's Commitment to Diversity Scholastic Competition.

The students were recognized by MWCC President Daniel M. Asquino and the college's Diversity Committee on Feb. 20. Each will receive a free, three-credit academic course.

Renowned environmentalist Marion Stoddart, whose grassroots efforts led to the restoration of the Nashua River - once considered one of the country's most polluted rivers - will share her experiences as a civic leader and pioneering activist during two presentations March 6 at MWCC. Read more
Neo-Celtic Artist Kellianna to Perform Free Concert at MWCC
International neo-Celtic artist Kellianna will perform songs of myth and magic during a free concert Friday, March 15 at MWCC. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the theatre of the Raymond M. LaFontaine Fine Arts Center and will be recorded by students in the college's Broadcasting and Electronic Media program. Read more
