Welcome to Issue 395. If you did not receive a previous issue, click here. The mission of "Marvelous Mondays" is to offer an inspirational thought, a practical exercise, some humor, or a simple tip to jump-start your week and to enhance your life, business, outlook, or relationships.

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time with a total of 28 medals (23 Gold). Phelps was expected to win Gold against his rivals Chad Le Clos and Laszlo Cseh in the 100m butterfly. (Phelps owns the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic titles in the event.) Instead, they all finished behind 21 year old Joseph Schooling from Singapore, who stunned the world by setting a new Olympic Record.

How did Phelps deal with the loss? He showed his true character by smiling and congratulating Schooling on his win. Phelp's Olympic experience and maturity was a shining example of the man he's become.

Phelp's journey hasn't been without bumps along the way. However, his commitment (often swimming eight (8) long hours a day), motivation, determination, and competitive spirit has inspired people around the world.
