Why is belief in yourself important?
|
It's important to believe in yourself since you have the most at stake in your success. It's easier to make changes and deal with change when you believe in yourself. Examples would be the changes that are happening in your life or in your career. How do you learn to believe in yourself? You begin by taking risks, trusting your decisions, and acknowledging your successes.

Qualities of persons who believe in themselves.

- Courage - to do or try something new
- Commitment to yourself by doing the best you can in your job or your personal growth.
- Stick-to-it-ness
- A plan for maintaining self-belief
- Commitment to physical exercise
- Acknowledgement and celebration

- List three ways that you believe in yourself.
- What gets in the way of your believing in yourself?
- How do you encourage those around you to believe in themselves?
- How do you acknowledge and celebrate yourself?
