Honoring Remarkable People
On Mother's Day many people honored the remarkable women in their lives. We honor other remarkable people on special holidays such as Father's Day, Memorial Day, Presidents Day, Veterans Day, etc.
What Does Remarkable Mean?
It means significant, memorable, noteworthy, courageous, successful, etc. You don't have to be famous to be remarkable. A remarkable person can be a model to us, help us make changes, teach us a lesson.

Shawn Nunnink Remarkable
I want to tell you about Shawn Nunnink. The doctors told her that she had at the most one year to live. Shawn thought differently. After all she had four small children and her devoted husband, Trae. She was determined to make the rest of her life the most meaningful that she could. She was a courageous fighter, a giver, and a wonderful mother. That was five years ago and only in the last few days did Shawn transition to her next journey. She created great memories for her husband and each of her children. A few weeks ago, hospice was brought in. Shawn immediately reached out to friends and threw a reception. She welcomed and thanked everyone for their support during these last five years. What an extraordinary gesture of kindness and gratitude.
