Royal Facts:
1. Eight come from behind victories in the playoffs.
2. Singles, base running, and keeping the ball in play are Royal Strengths (not trying to hit a home run every time).
3. Eight come from behind victories, including late inning comebacks.
4. Facing adversity in nearly every game, the Royals never panic.
5.Eric Hosmer commits a crucial error in game 5 but later redeems himself with hitting and bold base running.
6. Ned Yost, the manager, rarely tells a batter whether or not to bunt.
7. Alex Gordon began his career at third base but struggled defensively. The Royals moved him to a new position, left field. He is now the winner of four Golden Gloves and is recognized as the greatest left fielder in baseball.
8. Salvador Perez at 6'4 took an unusual amount of punishment in the form of batted balls. Despite all this he set a record for catching 2,713 regular-season and postseason innings in 2014-2015 and became the MVP of the World Series.
9. The manager and coaches and players are often seen smiling and laughing, which instills confidence in the team.
