The Greatest Rally Team
The Royals won 11 playoff games and are now the World Champions. 8 of their victories were come from behind in the 6th or later innings. No team has ever done that in more than 100 years of playoff history. 
Life Lessons
The Royals give us some valuable lessons. Here's a few:
  1. Risk Takers.  The Royals boldly steal bases.
  2. Belief.  They believe in themselves and their team mates.
  3. Teamwork.  They encourage and support one another and put the team first.
  4. Redemption.  Eric Hosmer committed a crucial error last night but redeemed himself with a big hit and smart and aggressive base running.
  5. Fun.  The players and the coaches tease each other and have fun.
Edison Volquez - The Ultimate Comeback
Edi made the ultimate comeback by coming back from his father's funeral in the Dominican Republic to pitch last night. He wanted to honor his father and be loyal to his team. Somehow, he did it.
Kansas City - A Great City!
This is a wonderfully livable and beautiful city with knowledgeable and loyal Royals fans. We treated the Met fans with courtesy as our guests while they were in Kansas City. We Kansas Citians are proud of the Royals and our city.
